“Giselle was a very thoughtful host. We appreciated the hospitality from her, Bruce and Bertrand. It was a peaceful spot, with a nice shared outdoor patio, solid WiFi. It was fun to see the chickens roaming around, also they have the sweetest dog!”

“Hi Giselle, I’m honestly out of words for the beautiful space you’ve shared. It feels more like a heartfelt ❤️offering than just a stay. I am yet to return the books that I have lent . Thank you so much for opening it up—I’m truly grateful.”

“An incredible host and a truly one-of-a-kind place. If you’re looking for an authentic, nature-rooted experience with a touch of spiritual serenity, this is the place to be. From the peaceful surroundings to the thoughtful details, every moment here feels like more than just a stay—it’s a grounding journey you’ll want to revisit again and again. A big thank you to Giselle, her sweet chickens, and the warm, wise family who cared for me not just as a guest, but like part of their community. If you’re in search of a mindful retreat where nature and intention meet, you’ve found your spot.”

“I was looking for the perfect spot to camp out in my van. Great view, beautiful surroundings and friendly people around me. And seclusion, if I ever felt like retreating back to my private spot. The hosts made it all look so easy, because they’re so chill, but they really thought of everything, so that I didn’t have to. All I had to do was relax and enjoy. And if I ever felt like getting out and exploring the surrounding area, they could tell me right where to go (btw, I also recommend paella night at 6-Sigma winery every first Wednesday). After spending a couple days at the hotsprings resort, this became the perfect home base from which to explore the rest of Lake County. Or just cook myself a meal and look out at the stars. You really should see this.”
