The space The Astral Lotus is a beautifully decorated futuristic 150 square foot, 4 meter Wilderness Resource Astral Dome white cloth tent with clear skylights and 6 doors and porthole windows all around taking in a panoramic view above Napa Valley spanning the entire Mayacamas Mountain range from Mt. St. Helena to Mt. Konocti. The comforts include high speed WiFi, electric power, fairy lights, candles, and rechargeable dimmable retro camp lanterns. Outside is adorned with solar Edison lights and star/moon lighting. The skylights flood it with warm natural sunlight during the day, and you can lie in bed and watch the clouds float by and the treetops and the birds. At night, it’s flooded with romantic moonlight. Outside you have a vintage Adirondack chair, teak chairs and table with shade umbrella and from November- May, a wood campfire ring of stone with grill. About 150 feet away we have a beautiful shade porch with an outdoor kitchen with just about everything you would need to cook a meal, a mini fridge, and a coffee and tea bar. Sun loungers for sunning or stargazing. Extra warm blankets. On summer we have a 15 foot splash pool, in Winter, a hot tub. If it’s a dark sky night, you will be able to walk around our 5 acre mountain and observe the Milky Way galaxy with your bare eyes. Our skies are Bortle 3, which is the darkest sky near the Bay Area. It’s the third darkest sky in the world, and we have the clearest air in California according to the National Lung Association, and 300 days of sunshine per year. It’s placed in the best view on our 5 acre property and it is surrounded by 6 completely empty uninhabited acres of oak forest. It is MUCH different than camping in a typical park or campground. It wasn’t easy putting the Astral here! It’s not easy to keep it from blowing away. It is beautifully decorated with a queen bamboo charcoal bed, cotton linens (Casaluna), several plush pillows, feather duvet, fur coverlets, heated mattress pads with dual control, electric power for devices, natural wood shoe rack, bath towels and washcloths, wood nightstands, antique copper and Native American vases, local pheasant feathers, mosaic cafe table, bamboo and canvas butterfly chairs, custom coconut coir carpet, oriental rugs, and sheepskins.
